Fulfilling Requirements with Insight and Education
At New Life Recovery Solutions, we provide a structured and non-judgmental environment to help individuals understand the profound consequences of impaired driving. Our Alcohol and Drug Information School (ADIS) and Victims Impact Panel (VIP) are designed to meet court-mandated requirements while fostering personal growth and behavioral change.
Alcohol and Drug Information School (ADIS)
The ADIS program is an educational seminar that provides objective information regarding the impact of alcohol and drugs on driving and overall health.
● Who it’s for: Individuals court-ordered to attend a drug and alcohol class following a DUI or other related offenses.
● What to expect: A one-day interactive seminar focused on self-assessment, legal consequences, and the physiological effects of substances.
● Goal: To provide the tools necessary to make safer choices and prevent future impaired driving incidents.
DUI Victims Impact Panel
The Victims Impact Panel (VIP) provides a forum for victims of impaired driving to share their personal stories with offenders in a non-blaming, non-judgmental environment.
● A Human Connection: By hearing firsthand accounts from those whose lives have been permanently altered by a DUI, participants can move beyond their own “bad luck” and understand the real human cost of their actions.
● Healing and Prevention: These panels serve as a vital step in breaking denial and imprinting a “human face” on the tragic consequences of impaired driving.
● Court Compliance: Completion of a recognized Victims Impact Panel is often a mandatory condition of probation or deferred prosecution.
